Project Neighbors has remained a very small, but mighty organization. For most of the past 50 years, there has been no staff, just volunteers working at neighboring. Without partnerships, most of our accomplishments would have been impossible.
Housing Opportunities is a community-sustained nonprofit that resolves and prevents homelessness for adults, children, and seniors in Porter and LaPorte counties. Above all, we provide hope to clients experiencing homelessness and its effects.

Agenda For a Better Community
The Agenda for a Better Community (ABC) is an attempt by a small and growing group of residents of Valparaiso, Indiana to put down on paper the elements that we believe are necessary in a healthy, thriving, just and sustainable community.
The James L. Kingsland Cultural Hub has a vision to create space for an intentional, organic Black-focused cultural hub designed to create and maintain a space that normalized black culture in Valparaiso.
WVLP 103.1 fm
WVLP LP 103.1 FM, Valpo’s Community Radio Station represents the only locally owned media outlet in Valparaiso and it features local people voicing their ideas and concerns along with an eclectic mix of music.

The Advisory Human Relations Council advances and supports community inclusion by celebrating and where diversity as a strength.
Project Zongo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, grassroots organization with a mission to improve the lives of thousands of residents in Accra and elsewhere in Ghana, who suffer from over-crowding, unsanitary conditions, unemployment and unacceptably small living conditions.
The Blues Project
The Blues Project is a music program based in Northwest Indiana whose aim is to pass on the music and history of the blues to the next generation of musicians through numerous educational and performance opportunities. The Blues Project conducts workshops, sponsors educational trips, and performs throughout Northwest Indiana.
Allies Against Racism
Allies Against Racism has been working for over three years to make an impact in Valparaiso, Indiana, to dismantle individual and institutional racism. Allies is working with community groups in our town and region to raise awareness about and dismantle racism in Valpo public schools.
Voices of Today Choir
Organized by Project Neighbors Community Organizer, Gregory A. Jones and Music Director, Judith Neville of Gratz Opus 118, the choir is comprised of a diverse group of young people ages 10-18.
